Hi Everyone,

Having each and every one of you at yesterday’s reunion made the event a major success! The energy level was high, youthful and positive all around!

Personally, it was my highlight of the year, i.e. to see some of you for the first time in 40+ years! I loved it and all of you!

Special thanks to Gary, Gerry and Susan for the music; Brother Joe Patric for getting me in touch with so many of you and representing the faculty; Mark for the special reunion message; Tommy Donovan for being there; Bob Schuler for his online video; and, everyone else who reached out to our Gators’ alumni community!

The only “disappointment” was that Bob Bonadonna didn’t spice up the evening with samples of his new line of ladies wear!

I’ll look forward to seeing the photos of the evening as soon as you can get them to me by email or posting them on our Mater Christi Reunions Facebook page (if you’re not using Facebook, consider starting so we can keep in touch going forward!)

I hope you all stay in touch and get-together often after I get back to Singapore on Jan 5. (I did get one pizza recommendation from Rich Ceo for the Bronx!)

To keep the updates on everyone going, here are a few more which I was able to receive:

Bill Purcell – after Mater Christi track and serving the nation in the Coast Guard; he tried his hand in archery where he is ranked 66th in the world today; continues to live a few blocks from his old place in Astoria and suggests we try Club 21 on Ditmas for one of our upcoming gatherings (owned by another archer who is ranked 33rd)

Bob Binz '70 - Masters in mechanical engineering. Worked in nuclear power generation for over 30 years. Married for 32 years to a school teacher with 3 sons (CSI Orange County; chemical engineer (Ph.D) in Houston; hotel manager in Disneyland.) Resides in West Deptford, NJ (near Philly).

Bob Schuler – just completed his Masters in Education with a perfect 4.0! Looking for his first teaching position! We hope St. John’s Prep will see his passion for teaching and kids!

Go Gators!
